A woman in Haßmersheim (Neckar-Odenwald-Kreis) ran over and seriously injured her four-year-old son with her car while reversing parking. The 37-year-old woman had told her son to wait next to the garage on Saturday, according to the police. However, the boy had allegedly stepped behind the vehicle and gotten under it. A rescue helicopter took the severely injured child to the hospital. The police spokesperson stated that an investigation is now being conducted against the 37-year-old woman for reckless bodily harm.
