Child hit by car and seriously injured

- Child hit by car and seriously injured

A toddler was struck by a car in Hadamar and severely injured. The two-year-old boy was flown to a hospital in Giessen by helicopter, police in Wiesbaden reported. His life is not in danger. According to initial investigations, the child suddenly ran between vehicles onto the main street in the Faulbach district and was hit by a 41-year-old woman's car on Sunday evening.

The concerned parents are now at the hospital, anxiously waiting for their son's recovery. Despite the accident, the children in the nearby school were safely escorted home by their teachers.
