Rescue operation - Child gets finger trapped in drain grate: Rescue operation
A five-year-old girl got her fingers stuck in the drainage grating of a bathtub in Wiesbaden. Rescue workers had to free the child on Monday evening. To do so, they first cut off the drain pipe with a side cutter, according to the Wiesbaden fire department on Tuesday. However, further attempts to get the fingers out of the metal grate initially failed. The child was eventually taken to hospital. There, the girl was put under general anesthesia and the sieve was cut.
