A 50-year-old woman in the Bavarian district of Main-Spessart threatened her husband's mistress with an imitation gun. As the police reported, the woman caught her 48-year-old husband with his mistress in Marktheidenfeld on Friday.

The 50-year-old then drew a pistol, which her husband knocked out of her hand. A physical altercation then ensued between the two women. During this, the 26-year-old mistress struck the 50-year-old's car with a shovel. Both the wife and her husband then drove off separately in their respective cars, and were later stopped by the police. In the husband's car, the officers found the weapon and determined that it was an imitation pistol.

Both women were reportedly lightly injured in the altercation. The police are now investigating, among other things, threats with a firearm, bodily harm, property damage, and insults against those involved.

The 50-year-old and her husband left the scene in their respective cars after the altercation. Later, during the investigation, the police discovered the imitation gun in the husband's car.
