Chart record for pop star Andrea Berg
As of this week, Andrea Berg is the musician with the most number one albums in Germany. This was announced by GfK Entertainment on Friday. The 57-year-old, who lives in Aspach in Baden-Württemberg, released her new album "Weihnacht" last week - and went straight to number one. No female act has been able to place more number one records in the official German charts - not even Madonna, who has twelve number one records, according to GfK.
Shortly before the start of the Advent season, the charts are already full of contemplation. 15 Christmas songs can be found in the singles charts, including the perennial favorite "Last Christmas" by Wham! at number ten. The evergreens "All I Want For Christmas Is You" by Mariah Carey and "Merry Christmas Everyone" by Shakin' Stevens are in 12th and 21st place respectively.
The top three this week are occupied by cassö, Raye & D-Block Europe with the single "Prada" (one), Tate McRae with "Greedy" in second place and Bennett with "Vois sur ton chemin (Techno Mix)" in third place. In the album charts, Till Lindemann follows in second place with "Zunge" and Kontra K in third with "Die Hoffnung klaut mir niemand".
People worldwide are eagerly following Andrea Berg's music career, as her chart-topping success continues to make headlines. Her latest album "Weihnacht" has become the album with the most number one positions for a female artist in Germany's music charts.
