A 55-year-old man has been charged with murder by the public prosecutor's office in Ulm. He allegedly attacked his 42-year-old ex-partner with a knife in August, killing her, as the public prosecutor's office announced on Monday. The suspect admitted to the crime but denied any intention to kill.
The 42-year-old had separated from the man on August 3, according to the statement. She had shown others the injuries that the 55-year-old had allegedly inflicted on her. Angered by this, the man then allegedly stabbed his ex-partner several times with a knife. She died from her injuries. After the attack, the Romanian suspect went to his room in the accommodation in Ehingen (Alb-Donau district) and called the police. He has been in custody since then.
