American actor Channing Tatum has a fondness for white T-shirts, but his enthusiasm for laundering them seems to wane. He's devised his own, albeit not eco-friendly, method to address this matter.

U.S. actor Channing Tatum confesses to rocking fresh, brand-new white tees for a whole year to dodge doing laundry. "Laundry, man, I can't stand it, hate it more than anything," the 44-year-old opened up in men's magazine "GQ."

He didn't have a specific date in mind, but it was around 1999 or 2000. He simply remembered it as a "great year." That's when he declared it the "Year of the Unwashed Fresh White T-Shirt." "I skipped laundry that year and simply wore newly purchased white tees," he shared.

Tatum's latest movie "Blink Twice" lands in theaters on August 22. Joining him in this directorial debut by American actress Zoeë Kravitz is actress Naomi Ackie.

Tatum, in conversation with "GQ," expressed his disdain for laundry by admitting, "♪ I'm not goinging to lie ♪, I can't stand it, hate it more than anything." Amused by his predicament, Tatum humorously referred to 1999 or 2000 as the "Year of the Unwashed Fresh White T-Shirt," opting to wear newly bought white tees instead of doing laundry.
