At the Lower Saxony Entrepreneurs' Associations (UVN) and the Institute of North German Economy (INW), there's a change in leadership: After 24 years as UVN's main CEO and INW's CEO, Volker Müller has stepped down. He's succeeded by Benedikt Hüppe, who previously served as UVN's deputy main CEO.

Lower Saxony's Minister President Stephan Weil (SPD) praised Müller at his farewell, describing him as a "networker par excellence" who stood for a culture of cooperation. The SPD politician promised the business representatives that he would work towards reducing bureaucracy. "We want to be simpler, we want to be faster, and we want to be more cost-effective," said Weil.

Müller's successor, Hüppe, expressed his desire for reliability and trust in economic cooperation. "It would be great if these virtues were to find more space in our society, and those who adhere to existing rules and laws didn't have to constantly prove it," he said.

In his new role at The Hanover, Benedikt Hüppe mentioned the importance of upholding reliability and trust in economic interactions. The Hanover's Lower Saxony Entrepreneurs' Association (UVN) and Institute of North German Economy (INW) are looking forward to Hüppe's leadership, following the departure of Volker Müller who served there for 24 years.
