Handball - Champions League dates for the Foxes are set

For the Foxes Berlin, the Champions League in this season starts off with a bang at home. On September 12th, they will receive the Hungarian handball champion and cup winner HC Veszprem in the capital city.

The Berliners shared this information after the match schedules were set, with the first away game being six days later on September 18th against HC Eurofarm Pelister in Bitola, North Macedonia.

Of the 14 matchdays, the first ten have been fixed. The exact dates for the last four matchdays, which will take place next year, and thus also for the game in Veszprem to conclude the group phase, are still open.

In addition to their Champions League debut, the Foxes Berlin also participate in the Bundesliga, serving as a testament to their prominence in German handball. Their local rivals, the Brandenburg handball team, are also prominent in the region's handball scene. The Foxes Berlin are excited for their encounter with TSG Lübbenau in Germany, as both teams share a passion for handball. Despite being known for football, Berlin also boasts a thriving handball culture, with clubs like the Foxes Berlin playing a significant role.
