Energy - Chambers of trade criticize energy policy
The Chambers of Crafts of Eastern Mecklenburg-Vorpommern and Schwerin have accused the Federal Network Agency of an unplanned and non-transparent energy policy. On Thursday, they referred to new rules that will apply from January. According to these, grid operators will be allowed to restrict heat pumps and charging stations in the event of overload. This is once again a symptom of an often hectic and short-sighted energy policy and proof that the majority of low-voltage grids are not yet designed for the rapid growth in heat pumps and charging facilities, the chambers said.
