Dresden's Dynamo Team [in Sports] - Central defender Boeder joins Dresden from Saarbrücken.

Lukas Boeder will now play for Dynamo Dresden after being announced as their newest recruit. The news was shared on Tuesday by the third division club. The 27-year-old central defender had been playing for league rival 1. FC Saarbrücken. His contract at the Saarlanders is set to expire at the end of June, so he's making the move to Dresden without having to pay any transfer fees. Unfortunately, there's been no mention of how long his new deal will last.

Last season, Boeder put in an impressive performance with 45 league games for FCS, which also included five DFB Cup games. Boeder was a key player during the victories against FC Bayern Munich, Eintracht Frankfurt, and Borussia Mönchengladbach.

"We managed to sign a talented third division defender who also has some 2. Bundesliga experience under his belt. His aggressive and all-encompassing style will help our defense and contribute to our game build-up," says David Fischer, Dynamo Dresden's Chief Communications Officer.
