"The Green Party has experienced a significant drop in support, and they will bear the cost of their disastrous economic policies as well as their handling of migration," declared Klein. "The SPD actively campaigned alongside Chancellor Olaf Scholz and even surpassed their historically worst result. This outcome reflects the immense dissatisfaction of the public with the current federal government." Klein added, "It's evident: the Traffic Light alliance mishandled the economy and should face the consequences of this significant loss of trust."

Initial projections and computations show that the Union achieved approximately 30% in the European election. The AfD garnered around 16%. The SPD received approximately 14%, the Greens - about 12%, and the FDP around 5%. Newly formed left alliance Sahra Wagenknecht (BSW) rose from nothing to about 6%, while the Left only secured about 3%.
