Violent Weather Front Approaches - Caution: Storms with thunder in eastern Saxony and Saxon Switzerland.
The German Meteorological Service has issued a warning for the evening hours of powerful thunderstorms in the districts of Görlitz, Bautzen, and Saxon Switzerland-Ore Mountains. With a level 2 out of 4, there's a moderate risk of these storms, the statement notes. It cautions residents about the potential for lightning, fallen trees, roads and underpasses getting rapidly flooded, along with aquaplaning and hail.
