- Cattle injured in farm fire

In a fire at an agricultural operation in the Ansbach district, four cattle were initially reported injured. The fire caused damages amounting to several hundred thousand euros, as reported by the police.

The fire broke out for unknown reasons at a barn with adjacent straw bales in a municipal area of Wassertriedingen. The flames spread to the adjacent cow shed, and the animals were removed from the building.

The exact number of cattle in the stall at the time of the fire was initially unknown. The veterinary office was on site. According to a spokesperson, no humans were injured. The criminal police took over the investigation.

After the fire in Wassertriedingen, concerned farmers from nearby villages in Bavaria offered temporary shelter for the affected cattle. Due to the extensive damage, the animals from the burnt barn were relocated to a farm in Bavaria's Schongau district.
