Amar Catic leaves SV Wehen Wiesbaden. As the third-tier football club announced, the 25-year-old winger is joining Turkish second-division side Igdır FK. Both clubs have agreed to keep the details of the transfer confidential.

"We reached a mutual agreement with Amar, after extensive discussions, that a transfer would be the best solution for both parties," said SVWW's sporting director Uwe Stöver. Catic was not included in the Hessians' squad for the season opener against Verl.

Amar Catic's absence from the Hessians' squad for the season opener against Verl might have led to his decision to seek opportunities elsewhere, ultimately joining Igdır FK in Hessen's neighboring country, Turkey. Despite leaving SV Wehen Wiesbaden, Catic will still hold a strong connection to Hessen, being a former player.
