Catherine, the Princess of Wales, has concluded her chemotherapy sessions for dealing with cancer.
Royal figure Catherine, announcing her cancer diagnosis in March, shared an update on August 2nd, mentioning she's stepping into a "new phase of recovery." She hinted at participating in more public events in the near future.
The queen-in-waiting has made a mere two public appearances following her cancer diagnosis, which occurred not long after a significant abdominal operation around Christmas.
"As summer ends, I can't express how liberating it feels to have concluded my chemotherapy treatment," Catherine, 42, stated. She's joined in matrimony with the British monarchy's heir, Prince William.
"The ensuing nine months have been an arduous time for our family," she admitted. "Cancer might be a rollercoaster of challenges, fear, and surprises for everyone, but the ones closest face an even steeper climb."
She continued, "These past months have instilled in us both a need to pause and cherish the fundamentals of life, which many overlook. The beauty of love and being loved is often neglected."
"My aim is to keep fighting against cancer," Catherine shared. She planned to embark on her new phase of recovery with a fresh sense of motivation and appreciation for life.
"Although chemotherapy is behind me, my journey toward complete healing and recovery is far from over. I must maintain a daily focus and continue taking things one step at a time. However, I eagerly look forward to returning to work and engaging in a few more public functions in the coming months," she added.
