In a crash caused by heavy rain, two cars overturned on the A9 highway in the Upper Bavarian district of Eichstätt. According to current information, a driver heading towards Munich on Tuesday evening lost control of their vehicle near Denkendorf due to weather conditions, as reported by the police. The car collided with the median barrier and another car, causing both vehicles to veer off the road and overturn. The driver of the second car sustained minor injuries, while the other driver and another passenger in their vehicle were moderately injured. The A9 was temporarily completely closed but is now open again.

The emergency services were called to manage the situation, involving transport and telecommunications to coordinate the arrival of medical assistance and tow trucks. As traffic was significantly affected, alternate routes were suggested through telecommunications channels for motorists using transport services.
