Traffic - Car transporter on fire on the A27: full closure
A burning car transporter has caused a full closure on the Autobahn 27 near Bremen. The driver of the van with several cars, including an electric car, was traveling in the direction of Hanover, police said on Tuesday. He noticed that his van was on fire near the Horn-Lehe district, drove onto the hard shoulder and initially tried to extinguish the fire himself. The fire department then took over and the lane in the direction of Hanover was closed. No one was injured and the cause of the fire was initially unclear. Traffic was backed up into the city in the morning due to the closure.
