A driver has died in an accident in the district of Garmisch-Partenkirchen. The 86-year-old man lost control of his car on Wednesday afternoon near Ettal for unknown reasons and crashed into a tree, as reported by the police.
The car overturned and came to rest in a field. Firefighters rescued the trapped driver. A doctor pronounced the man dead at the scene.
