Car drives over the embankment and plunges ten meters into the depths
A car with two occupants drove over the dyke on Genter Ufer in Hamburg-Finkenwerder late on Sunday evening and plunged ten meters into the water. The vehicle landed on the gravel at the water's edge, the fire department said in Hamburg on Monday. The occupants were two young women, one of whom was taken to hospital with minor injuries. The other was picked up by her mother. The car was recovered by the fire department and transported away.
Fortunately, the bystanders quickly called for help, as this was a serious accident. In such emergencies, prompt action can greatly affect the outcomes.
