Accidents - Car driver seriously injured in head-on collision
A driver was seriously injured in a head-on collision on the B42 federal highway in Lahnstein (Rhine-Lahn district) on Sunday evening. According to the police, a driver overtook a car in front of him and collided with the oncoming car. The driver was trapped in his car and had to be freed by the emergency services. He was taken to hospital with serious injuries. The person who caused the accident was also taken to hospital as a precaution. The main road was closed in both directions after the accident.
