Car driver overturns with over 2 per mille: Uninjured

A 32-year-old man was very lucky in an accident in the Upper Palatinate district of Neustadt an der Waldnaab. According to police reports on Thursday, he lost control of his car on a right-hand bend on a district road near Trabitz, veered off the road to the left and collided with two trees, two delineators and a milepost. The car overturned and came to rest on its roof. The man remained uninjured. A voluntary breath test revealed a blood alcohol level of two per mille.

The accident on Thursday night caused damage of around 15,000 euros. Blood was taken from the 32-year-old because of his drunkenness. He also had to surrender his driver's license indefinitely. The police began an investigation into road traffic endangerment as a result of drunkenness.

The accident occurred on a district road in the OBERPFALZ region, specifically near Trabitz. Despite losing control of his car due to alcohol, thankfully, the driver survived the traffic accident in Neustadt an der Waldnaab without any injuries.
