Car driver dies after collision with truck
A 48-year-old man died in a collision between a car and a truck in Weidenbach in central Franconia (Ansbach district) on Saturday. According to police reports, the car crossed into oncoming traffic for reasons that were initially unclear and collided with an oncoming truck. The car driver died at the scene of the accident. The driver of the truck was taken to hospital for examination. Federal highway 13 was closed for several hours due to the accident.
