Tettnang - Car driver crashes into truck: life-threatening injuries
A car driver crashed into a truck on a main road near Tettnang (Lake Constance district) on Thursday and suffered life-threatening injuries. The 38-year-old overtook several cars on a wet road in a wooded area, according to the police. He was presumably going too fast, skidded and collided with the oncoming truck. The fire department had to free the trapped 38-year-old from the car. He was then taken to hospital. The truck driver was uninjured. According to preliminary estimates, the damage amounted to 70,000 euros. The federal highway 467 was partially closed for a good five hours.

The accident occurred on the main road in the Bodensee district, specifically near Tettnang. The incident involved a car and a truck, causing significant damage estimated at 70,000 euros. Due to the incident, part of federal highway 467 was closed for several hours. Following the collision, the police reported that the car driver, a 38-year-old individual, was seriously injured and required assistance from both the police and the fire department to be extracted from the vehicle. Thankfully, the truck driver was unharmed in the incident.
