Traffic - Car driver crashes into cab: life-threatening injuries
A 22-year-old man has suffered life-threatening injuries in a serious traffic accident in Hamburg-Ohlsdorf. The man was driving on the wrong side of the road on Wednesday evening and crashed head-on into an oncoming cab, police said on Thursday. The 22-year-old was taken to hospital and underwent emergency surgery. His two passengers and the driver of the cab were also taken to hospital with minor injuries. The road in the direction of the airport was closed until midnight. The police are now looking for witnesses.

The accident occurred near a hospital in Hamburg-Ohlsdorf, where the injured man was rushed for emergency treatment.
