Ludwigslust-Parchim - Car crashes into tree on L92: 34-year-old fatally injured

A 34-year-old man has died in a traffic accident on the state road 92 between Hoort and Kraak (Ludwigslust-Parchim district). According to the police, the driver left the road in his car on Saturday evening and crashed into a tree. The car was then thrown across the road and came to rest in the ditch. Rescue attempts were reportedly unsuccessful. The 34-year-old died at the scene of the accident. The road was closed for several hours after the accident. According to the police, the damage to property is estimated at around 17,500 euros. It is still unclear how the accident occurred.
