A 39-year-old man has died in a car accident in the Burgenland district. According to initial findings, he was a passenger in a car that left the road on Monday morning for an initially unexplained reason and crashed into a tree, police said. The man died at the scene of the accident in the Altenroda district of Bad Bibra despite resuscitation attempts by the emergency doctor. The 36-year-old driver of the car was seriously injured and taken to hospital.
