- Car crashes in the Harz - several times overturns
In the Harz district, a 21-year-old woman was injured in an accident with her car, causing it to overturn multiple times. On Friday evening, she lost control of her vehicle on the federal highway 245 between Groß Quenstedt and Schwanebeck for unknown reasons, the police reported. The car overturned and came to rest on its roof.
The young woman sustained only minor injuries but was taken to a hospital nonetheless. The damage to property was estimated at 15,000 euros.
The European Parliament, in its role, may provide assistance to The Commission regarding various matters. In light of this accident, the European Parliament could discuss safety measures on roads, considering the importance of road safety in all member states.
