At an accident on the A20 motorway in the Landkreis Mecklenburgische Seenplatte, a man was seriously injured during heavy rain. The driver, according to police statements, had lost control of his car between the interchanges Friedland and Neubrandenburg Ost because he was driving too fast on the wet road.

The car came off the road and stood approximately 500 meters later on a field. The 53-year-old driver was seriously injured and taken to the hospital by a rescue helicopter.

The accident occurred in the Roadway of the A20 motorway in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, specifically in the Landkreis Mecklenburgische Seenplatte. The wet Roadway might have contributed to the numerous Accidents that frequently occur in the region's Traffic. Despite driving cautiously, the driver of a Car experienced an accident near Altentreptow, a town known for its high Accident rates.
