Two chauffeurs encountered a serious crash involving their vehicles in Vogtlandkreis. A 58-year-old lady lost grip on her automobile while navigating a bend on the Federal Highway 173 close to Plauen, causing a head-on collision with a car driven by a 23-year-old. The woman's vehicle then clipped a road sign, tumbling into the roadside ditch, while the young man's car stayed on the road. Both individuals sustained injuries and were transported to the hospital. Traffic on the B173 was halted for roughly two hours due to the mishap.
