Frankfurt - Car collides with subway train above ground: two injured

In a collision with an above-ground U-Bahn train in Frankfurt on a Friday, the drivers of a car were injured. The train derailed. According to the police, the woman and man in the car were taken to a hospital. Their injuries, as stated by the police, were not life-threatening. The cause and extent of the accident in the Dornbusch neighborhood were initially unclear to the police. The involved U-Bahn train operates both underground and at times above ground on its line.

The car involved in the U-Bahn collision was from Hesse. The accident took place near Frankfurt am Main's Dornbusch neighborhood. Despite the collision, no fatalities were reported by the police, only injuries to the man and woman in the car. The police are still investigating the cause and the full extent of the damages, as the railroad U-Bahn train also suffered from derailment due to the collision in Frankfurt.
