Major Accident on B105 - Car collides with motorhome - Eight injured
Due to a head-on collision between a car and a motorhome, eight people were injured on the B105 in the Rostock district. Among them were four children, the police reported. Initial findings suggest that at around 4:00 PM, a 46-year-old driver lost control of his car on the B105 near Häschendorf, veering into oncoming traffic and colliding head-on with an oncoming motorhome carrying a family of five from Berlin. A 47-year-old woman was severely injured in the crash. Also in the motorhome were a 52-year-old man and children aged 7, 13, and 15, who sustained minor injuries.
The driver of the car and two children aged 5 and 8 in his vehicle also suffered minor injuries. Emergency services responded with five ambulances, a doctor, a helicopter, and a fire truck. The B105 was closed for four hours. The estimated property damage is around 30,000 euros.
The collision resulted in significant clashes on the road, causing chaos and delays for other commuters. The police had to manage clashes between frustrated drivers who were affected by the road closure.
