On the A14 highway near Leipzig, a person was injured in an accident. A vehicle lost control around 11:30 AM due to the wet road and collided with a guardrail, the police reported upon request. A rescue helicopter was deployed. The highway was temporarily closed in both directions.
Traffic in the direction of Dresden has since resumed, while the road in the direction of Halle remains closed. Traffic is currently being rerouted via the emergency lane.
