- Car collapses several times - 39-year-old seriously injured
A 39-year-old woman's car collided while overtaking in the Bavarian district of Aichach-Friedberg, causing it to overturn multiple times. The woman was seriously injured and airlifted to a hospital on Saturday, where her life was initially at risk, according to police. The 29-year-old driver of the other car was lightly injured.
The 39-year-old attempted to overtake the 29-year-old's car in a curve near Hollenbach. In doing so, she failed to notice an oncoming car and tried to swerve her vehicle, causing it to collide with the 29-year-old's car. Both vehicles left the road and ended up in a nearby field, resulting in the 39-year-old's car overturning multiple times.
The total damage to both vehicles was approximately 40,000 euros, a police spokesperson reported.
Despite the woman's best efforts to avoid an accident, her car collided with the other vehicle, leading to a series of overturns. Fortunately, the 39-year-old survived the accident, albeit with serious injuries.
