There was a crash on the B110 road close to Anklam, involving a car and a tractor. It happened on a Sunday, with one person being seriously hurt and the other sustaining minor injuries. The serious injury victim was a 48-year-old woman, who was airlifted to the Greifswald University Hospital. The co-driver of the car, aged 22, did not suffer badly. The tractor driver, aged 57, walked away unscathed. Both vehicles were beyond repair, leading to around 60,000 euros of damages. The busy road was shut for five hours. At the start, the cause of the accident was not understood.

The helicopter from the emergency services arrived at the scene of the collision to transport the seriously injured woman. Despite the heavy traffic on Sunday, the helicopter managed to navigate through the congestion. Unfortunately, the busy B110 road is often the site of such accidents due to its high volume of traffic.
