Candace Bushnell notices something when dating

With her book "Sex and the City", she created the idea for the TV series of the same name. US author Candace Bushnell (64) has now spoken about her own dating life in an interview. She is on the move on several apps. "I go out with men of different ages," she told the British newspaper "The Telegraph". There's a 21-year-old and a 90-year-old. "My age range for dating is 70."

She had noticed that it was difficult to find the right momentum with each other. "People seem to have so many other things to do," she told the newspaper. "I don't know what they're doing - and whether these guys are playing video games or watching Netflix, but the important relationship of all today seems to be with a screen."

Bushnell has also written the book "Is there still Sex in the City?", for example, and she also performs with a stage program. When asked whether she would remarry after her divorce a few years ago, she told the newspaper: "Absolutely." She had loved being married.

"And the reality today is that most of us will have times in our lives when we're married and times when we're single," Bushnell said. So you have to be able to cope with both situations. Someone recently asked her what she was looking for. She replied: "I don't have very high standards. I'm just looking for someone I can connect with. But for some reason, that seems to be very hard to find."
