Nine kilos of Marihuana were found by police in the trunk of a taxi on Autobahn 9 during a control. The taxi driver and his passenger are currently in custody for suspicion of drug trafficking, as the police announced today. The officers found the drugs neatly packed in ten portions during the control at a rest stop near Hepberg (Landkreis Eichstaett) on Tuesday.

Additionally, the 32-year-old taxi driver could not present a valid driver's license. For this reason, a drug rapid test was administered, which indicated consumption of Cocaine. His 27-year-old passenger reportedly presented a falsified Croatian document.

The investigators secured the taxi and the Marihuana. The two suspects were reportedly taken to different detention centers on Wednesday.

The incident occurred in Upper Bavaria, specifically along Autobahn 9. The police in Bavaria have been kept busy with this case of drug trafficking.
