The championship decider in the football league. - BVB's final match: Reus in reserve role

Marco Reus is sitting on the bench during his last game for Borussia Dortmund. Before the Champions League final against Real Madrid at the Wembley Stadium in London, BVB's coach Edin Terzic made the expected lineup choice on Saturday night with the five offensive players - Jadon Sancho, Niclas Füllkrug, Karim Adeyemi, Julian Brandt, and Marcel Sabitzer.

Reus turned 35 on Friday and will be leaving his hometown club after this season. Only a few players in international football have a positive record against the Champions League record holder from Madrid. Reus has won three out of seven games against Real Madrid, losing only two.

Interestingly, French national player Aurélien Tchouameni is listed on the squad for Real Madrid. Previously, the 24-year-old midfielder had been injured during the semi-final against Bayern Munich. There were some doubts about his participation in the European Championship to be held in Germany. However, he made it to the bench for this last match after a final assessment test during Friday night's training session.
