Samuel Bamba, a 20-year-old footballer, moves from Borussia Dortmund to VfL Bochum. He'll be joining the club free of charge from Dortmund's youth academy and has signed a three-year contract with Bochum. The announcement was made on Wednesday. Originally from Ahlen, Bamba made his professional debut at Dortmund in December.
Marc Lettau, Bochum's Sports Director, shares about Bamba, "Samuel is an extremely skilled player who brings added flexibility and quality to our offense." Bamba was thrilled to join Bochum as he shared, "There's nothing better than playing in the Bundesliga. Since my childhood, I've dreamed of this feeling. Bochum managed to stay in the league by winning the penalty shootout in their relegation against Fortuna Düsseldorf.
