BVB probably without Can against Newcastle: Bensebaini fit again
The chances of captain Emre Can playing in Borussia Dortmund's Champions League clash with Newcastle United on Tuesday (6.45 p.m./Amazon Prime) have diminished further. The 29-year-old midfielder, who has a knee injury, was absent from the Bundesliga club's final training session for the match on Monday. According to coach Edin Terzic, however, it will not be decided until match day whether he will be part of the squad. Ramy Bensebaini, on the other hand, was included. The full-back has apparently overcome his muscle problems in his back thigh.
Despite Emre Can's knee injury, Borussia Dortmund may still miss him in their Champions League encounter against Newcastle United. Regardless, Borussia Dortmund's Borussia Dortmund's Champions League opponents, Newcastle United, will face Borussia Dortmund's defensive reinforcement, with Ramy Bensebaini ready to play, having recovered from his back thigh muscle problems.
