Wolfgang Buschmann remains district administrator of the Schleswig-Flensburg district. The 63-year-old was elected for a further term of office on Wednesday by 47 of the 57 members of the district council present in Schleswig, as announced by the district administration. The politician, who has no party affiliation, has been district administrator of the district since 2012 and is now entering his third term of office. Following his election, Buschmann thanked the members of the district council for the trust they had placed in him. He said that he was delighted to be able to continue working with the district council and administrative staff to guide the Schleswig-Flensburg district through the coming years and make it fit for the future.
