Traffic - Bus rolls over signs on traffic island
For reasons as yet unexplained, the driver of a public bus drove over a traffic island in the Bernkastel-Wittlich district. As the police announced on Thursday, no one was injured in the morning accident. It was an empty journey. However, according to a police spokeswoman, the bus rolled over road signs on a traffic island at the traffic circle in Manderscheid. Initial estimates put the damage to the bus at around 30,000 euros. The traffic circle was briefly closed in the morning until the road maintenance team arrived.
