Ludwigslust-Parchim district - Bus driver injured with irritant gas: suspect arrested
A 59-year-old bus driver in Boizenburg/Elbe(Ludwigslust-Parchim district) has been injured in the face with irritant gas. According to the police, the 59-year-old refused to allow a 19-year-old with an e-scooter to board her bus on Wednesday afternoon. According to the bus driver, the young man had previously behaved conspicuously. He then allegedly insulted the bus driver and sprayed her in the face with irritant gas.
The suspect then fled and initially remained unidentified. However, thanks to a tip-off, the police were able to apprehend him on Thursday afternoon. During a search of the young man, the officers found a container of pepper spray. The 19-year-old is now being investigated for dangerous bodily harm.
