District of Cochem-Zell - Bus crashes into car and flower pot: hit and run
The driver of a red public service bus in the district of Cochem-Zell veered wildly off course - and fled the scene despite causing damage. On Monday afternoon, he initially crashed into a parked car in the local community of Neef "due to the cramped road conditions", the police reported in the evening. The bus then drove across a meadow and into a sandstone flower pot. This broke. The bus driver left the scene of the accident without paying any attention to the damage. According to witnesses, the bus had a Mainz license plate. The police are looking for further witnesses.
