Blaze breaks out in local area. - Burning waste bins in trash collection vehicles
One morning, two remaining garbage bins erupted in flames inside a garbage truck in Bruhl, Rhineland-Palatinate. The authorities revealed that the contents of the garbage vehicle were subsequently dumped onto the street to prevent the fire from spreading further to the truck. Thankfully, no injuries were reported. The fire was later extinguished by the fire department. The reason behind the garbage bin catching fire remained unclear at the time.
