Traffic accident - Burning car rolls against house wall - driver under the influence of alcohol
The burning car of a drunk driver has rolled against a house wall in Kirchhain (Marburg-Biedenkopf district). The 46-year-old man's vehicle caught fire on Monday night for unknown reasons, police said in the morning.
The driver had left the car, which then rolled against the wall of the house. This caused slight damage to the wall, but the fire department was able to extinguish the fire quickly. The perpetrator fled, but the police later tracked him down. The burnt-out vehicle was seized in order to determine the cause of the fire. The police estimate the damage to the car and house wall at 25,000 euros.
