Berlin - Brawl with 30 people involved: police officer is attacked
A police officer has been attacked and injured in a major brawl on a street in Berlin-Tempelhof. The off-duty officer was riding his bike on Bayernring on Thursday evening when he noticed the brawl involving around 30 people and alerted his colleagues. He asked the participants to separate and filmed the brawl on his cell phone, but was then verbally abused, pushed to the ground and kicked by four men. When the police arrived, all the suspects fled to a pub where they were arrested. The off-duty police officer was injured in the head and knee, but did not require medical attention.
