Two young men sustained light injuries each in a brawl at Dunningen (Rottweil District), according to the police's statement on Sunday. A bystander who attempted to mediate the altercation was also reportedly injured. A 35-year-old man was hit by a fist.

Witnesses report fighting sticks

The police were alerted in the early hours of Sunday due to a fight between two men at a roundabout, according to witnesses, who claimed that they had seen the men fighting with fighting sticks. Upon arrival, the officers found the two parties involved; other people had reportedly fled the scene.

The police diffused the heated situation with several patrol cars. An ambulance transported the three injured individuals to hospitals. The police did not provide information on what had caused the altercation between the 21-year-old and the older man. Both men are required to answer charges for grievous bodily harm. The investigation is ongoing.
