police - Brawl at the GTI meeting

At the three-day GTI-Fanfest in Wolfsburg, a brawl broke out between a visitor and a security guard. On the Saturday evening, security asked visitors to leave the area because the event was over, according to the police. However, these visitors were not in agreement. The security personnel therefore wanted to remove them from the area using the house right. During this, a "mutual bodily harm" incident occurred between a visitor and a security guard, the police reported. Complaints were filed.

Thousands of fans came to Wolfsburg for the Fanfest. According to the organizers, around 1,000 fans of the sporty Golf model traveled in their own Golf GTI and presented their vehicles next to the Volkswagen arena.

VW moved the meeting to Wolfsburg from the previously cancelled venue at Wörthersee. The conclusion is planned for Sunday with a car parade across the VW works area, featuring around 200 cars.

The brawl at the GTI-Fanfest in Wolfsburg escalated to a point of "mutual bodily harm," as reported by the Lower Saxony police. Despite the brawl, the GTI-Meeting continues in Wolfsburg, with VW moving the event from its original location due to circumstances. The automobile industry event, filled with leisure activities for fans, has seen an increase in Criminality this year.
