Fire in Harz - Brand in a multi-family house under construction
In the night to Sunday, a fire broke out in an empty multi-family house in Schwanebeck (Landkreis Harz). The roof structure was partially damaged, the police reported. Around 40 firefighting forces were on site. The cause of the fire is still unclear.
The police estimate the damage at around 20,000 Euros. Due to the danger of collapse of the gable, a road closure was ordered.
The fire incident occurred in Schwanebeck, which is located in the Landkreis Harz of Saxony-Anhalt. On the following day, which was Sunday, the authorities were still investigating the cause of the fire in the multi-family house.
